From August 26th to 27th, viewers will be treated to a non stop marathon of entertainment, including live musical performances, comedy skits, heartwarming documentaries, and emotional appeals for charity. This year, the event will be hosted by Arashi’s Sakurai Sho and actress Yui Aragaki, along with a lineup of popular celebrities and entertainers.

2. A Spotlight on Mental Health and the Power of Connection

One of the core messages of this year's “24時間テレビ” is the importance of mental health. The program will feature stories of individuals who have overcome personal struggles and emphasize the power of community and connection in supporting those in need.

3. Raising Funds for a Worthy Cause

As always, "24時間テレビ" is a major fundraising event for the Japanese Red Cross. Viewers can contribute to the cause by making donations through various platforms, including phone calls, text messages, and online portals. The funds raised will be used to support crucial initiatives like disaster relief, medical research, and social welfare programs.

4. The "Charity Marathon" A Symbol of Perseverance

A key highlight of the event is the "Charity Marathon," where a prominent celebrity runs for 100 kilometers over the course of 24 hours. This year, the marathon runner is actor and singer, Suda Masaki, who will be showcasing incredible endurance and dedication in support of the cause.

5. The Power of Collective Action

"24時間テレビ" is more than just a television program; it's a testament to the power of collective action and compassion. By bringing together viewers from all walks of life, the event fosters a sense of unity and inspires people to make a positive difference in the world.

6. A Legacy of Hope and Resilience

For decades, "24時間テレビ" has been a beloved tradition in Japan, providing a platform for sharing stories of hope, resilience, and the importance of human connection.
